Open studio time is set in 2 hour increments and the cost for these classes are 10/hr. ($20 for 2 hour session). Open studio consists of time for you to come and use the studio and equipment to make items on your own at your own pace and glaze your items. You will need to purchase a "open studio package" as well to use in these classes. This can be purchased when you arrive to the studio or you can also purchase it on here. All of the firing and glazes are included in the clay package.

During your first visit, we will go over rules and how to properly use the equipment. Wheel can only be used after a class has been taken with me to learn the wheel.

Hand-building Pottery Event

Join me in this hand building pottery class. All ages are welcome! I have a list that I can send you of all the options that I have. These are all done with slabs of clay that I have precut by me and ready for you to build when you come. You will then need to come back on a glaze day (these are posted as events) to glaze your items in your choice of color/colors. Price depends on what you are making.

1. Send me a message either on Facebook or text/call 814-952-6825 and I will give you the options and pricing of each item. The cost is dependent on what you’re making. I will need to know what you choose to make prior to class.
3. Payment is $10 to book your spot and the remaining is paid the night of the event. But if you are unable to attend please cancel at least the day before.

Also, pottery does break or crack in the drying or firing process. If this is to happen, you are able to remake you piece for no additional cost or get a gift certificate to use at a later time or in the store.

We absolutely loved our class. My teen daughter and I took a class here and we both had the BEST time! Kelsey was very patient and thorough in her instructions. We learned, we laughed, and we made 2 nice pieces for our first time. She was very positive and encouraging with my daughter which I really appreciated. I would absolutely recommend Lost Hills Pottery for a fun time out! 😊

Went for my second time today to the open studio and I love it there. I could go hang with the Kelsey and make stuff all day long every day. Great atmosphere, she's a great teacher, the price is great, great conversation and the entire experience is just plain awesome.
